Don’t know exactly why I didn’t post this in the first place…let’s see if the links work!
The kids are on spring break; we’re spending lots of time at the library and the book stores, hanging out, avoiding the cold rain of…hmm…April. A couple of big projects need to be finished soon, too, so there’s not a lot of time to write epic blog posts.
So we’re mellowing out in a folkie kind of way.
Harry Chapin – Corey’s Coming
Bob Dylan – Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright
Blue Mountain – Emily Smiles
A.C. Newman – The Cloud Prayer
Beau Brummels – Cherokee Girl
Jesse Winchester – Twigs and Seeds

How cool is it that my 82-year old Mom will travel across the country to spend a month with me and my wife and my three crazy kids? It’s totally cool. She heads back east tomorrow and the star fish is waving goodbye. (BTW: She digs all this stuff…tapping her toes to Social D. on the way to buy school supplies…you rock, Mom!)

Bob Dylan – Bye and Bye
Bay City Rollers – Bye Bye Baby
Bert Kaempfert – Bye Bye Blues
Mary Wells – Bye Bye Baby
G. Love And Special Sauce – Bye Bye Baby
Social Distortion – Bye Bye Baby
Ray Charles – Bye Bye Love

Notes from original tape: “This tape was was (sic) recorded early fall 1994 on the original Atus/Technics system used at the end of Chuck Clark’s Bar many years before. The original edit of side one also included Van Morrison’s “Chick-A-Boom”. It was recorded over 2 weeks (9/17-24) in the musty living room at Dryden Farm”.
