Eric Lindell

I wouldn’t have paid much attention to Eric Lindell at the blues festival this past summer had it not been for the heads-up I got from my man Matt at WNEW. He gave me the 411 and I tracked down Lindell’s set, a good one on a summer afternoon.

I grabbed his latest disc from the library and slipped it into the CD player this morning on the way to school. We have early mornings all this week — with my 10-year old on safety patrol — so there was more grouchiness in the car this morning than anything else.

Nothing caught their ears but I noticed that Eric was singing my song:

  1. I saw Lindell & his band at the Jacksonville Beach Springing the Blues Festival last April. I was very impress with him AND his band.

  2. Absolutely awsome! And I mean it in the classical sense: I went Ahhhh! and just closed me eyes enjoying the sound.

Thanks for this wonderful discovery – best for me since Snowy White made in into my life.
