Carlene Carter – Little Acts of Treason

Which is to say I have more respect for Carlene Carter than I do for, say, Cher. Having said that, there’s nothing wrong with genuflecting a moment for the beautiful sight that was the young Carlene:

Putting aside the more prosaic aspects of my affection, Little Acts of Treason is one that’s gotten a lot of play since it was put out almost 15 years ago. She put together some great songwriters (including Al Anderson) and some heavyweight session cats (including Albert Lee, John Jorgenson, Mark O’Connor and members of the Heartbreakers). Modern country, I guess, for our Full Album on Friday.
